High up on your list of things to
do while in the State should be a
visit to Australia’s oldest brewery
Cascade Brewery was started
by Peter Degraves in 1824 when
Hobart Town had 55 licensed
pubs for a population of 10,000.
Today, Cascade Premium Lager
is one of the most awarded beers
in the country.
The factory sits at the base of
Mount Wellington from which it
sources the pure, uncontaminated
waters that help create its smooth
